vs. Lindbergh and vs. Renton

The track meet included Lindbergh, Renton and ourselves…three (3) of the biggest and talented teams in our league.   It was a double dual for us.  One dual was against the Renton Indians and the other dual was against the Lindbergh Eagles.  They did not dual against each other.  Because of the talent present at this track meet, the overall wins were hard to come by; but we captured a few on the girl’s side and the boy’s 4x400m relay of Ramsay Bauer, Nate Randall, Eli Braun and Isaac Feil came out on top.  On the girls side…Ariell Garnett was the overall winner in the 100m with a new Personal Record (PR) time of 12.50 and she was the overall winner in the 400m.  Karianne Bolma was the overall winner in the 800m with a new Season Record (SR) of 2:36.43.  Gabrielle Patten was the overall winner in the 300m Hurdles with a new PR time of 48.12.   Alessandra Campagnaro was the overall winner in the Javelin with a new PR throw of 106’ 06”.  Chloe Eustaquio was the overall winner in the Triple Jump with a new SR jump of 31’ 4.5”.  And finally the girl’s 4x400m Relay with members Rachel Martin, Gabrielle Patten, Kit Bruner and Lily Grassley ended the meet with an overall win.  The boys mounted up 34 new SRs/PRs and the girls tallied up 19 new SRs/PRs.  The Lancers were having a good day on the track and the field, but only one team was able to defeat both the Eagles and the Indians.  The boys lost with scores of 33 to 110 and 49 to 95 respectively; BUT the girls WON both duals with a score of 85 to 56 and 92 to 49 respectively.  Our next meet will be a non-counting dual against Foster.  Come watch us continue to set new SRs/PRs for the season.  It will be held at Renton Stadium @ 3:30 p.m.
